GUEST BOOK

Carolyn was a dear friend of mine while at Savannah High for several years. As with many of our fellow classmates that have gone before us, we lost that closeness in the later years, that breaks my heart, especially when hearing of her passing. God Bless her family during these times.

- Randall Kicklighter, Dallas, GA

Carolyn will be greatly missed.

- Fred Garis, Milledgeville, GA

Our deepest sympathies go out to all of Carolyn's family and friends. We fondly remember our wonderful visits while in Savannah as well as long, late night, phone conversations. Each year we shared our love of animals through our Christmas cards. One of Carolyn's desire was to own a Corvette so one year we sent her one, however it was not road worthy since it was a 'Matchbox Corvette' she was quite tickled by that. She, jokingly, never forgave our Son Robert for not fixing the grass in her backyard. These are but a few fond memories we cherish. May god bless this wonderful lady, her family and her circle of friends. Be at peace in the loving arms of God

- Ellen & Alan Steenson, Tampa, FL

I only met Carolyn a couple of times, she was my neighbor across the street. She was genuine, you knew where you stood with her. Always friendly, always had a smile, I'd see her in the mornings as she would be leaving for work or on the weekends and she'd always wave. The neigborhood just won't seem the same I'm afraid. God Bless you Carolyn. My condolences to all who knew you and cared for you.

- NELL GUYETTE, savannah, GA

DEAR SUZANNE AND FAMILY MEMBERS, YOUR MOTHER WAS NOT ONLY OUR EMPLOYEE AT AVECO INSURANCE BUT SHE WAS LIKE A FAMILY MEMBER TO US. SHE WILL BE MISSED NOT ONLY AS AN EMPLOYEE BUT AS A PERSON THAT WE WILL HOLD DEARLY IN OUR HEARTS FOREVER. I WILL MISS SEEING HER SMILING FACE AND OUR MANY PHONE COVERSATIONS WE WOULD HAVE AT NIGHT. SHE HAD A VERY COMPASIONATE HEART AND WAS VERY CONCERNED ABOUT THINGS THAT WOULD HAPPEN INSIDE AND OUTSIDE THE WORK PLACE. SHE PUSHED HERSELF TO THE VERY END TO SHOW UP FOR WORK WHEN WE KNEW SHE DID NOT FEEL LIKE IT, BUT I THINK THAT HER WORK WAS PART OF HER LIFE THAT MADE HER HAPPY. IT WAS AN HONOR TO KNOW SUCH A DEVOTED, HONEST, AND GOOD PERSON. AGAIN, SHE WILL BE SADLY MISSED.

Carolyn and I shared many wonderful, giggly teenage girl memories from Savannah High. When I fainted in front of the class from fright before our group presentation, Carolyn was the one who caught me on the way down. I'll always remember her sweetness and beauty. My condolences to you all. Lois Homans Chepenik

Carolyn I regret that we are not socializing today, perhaps watching the Georgia game. Taking a moment in life to really seize the moment of friendship, that God so intends for us to enjoy. A moment in which God like a Father is pleased that for this moment we have set aside the frenetic pace of our daily lives and released ourselves of the fears and insecurities that manifest within us. Unfotunately we will not have this day together. However as I proclaim faith in a loving God , a Father , I have prayed and found faith that you are reading this letter , sharing my heart and thoughts. I have faith that you now fully understand things that will continue to baffle me as I live out my life here on Earth. I am sure that that I will think of you from time to time and I have faith, that if I listen, you can tell me the things in life that are really important and worth persuing, and those other things that have no real value at all. Thank you , Gid, Vickie,Tripper and Will
